  2. Hi friends....May 1 started my month long trip with my mom. I wanted to blog it to remember the times that touched my heart. My travels will take me to so many first time experiences. This is not only a trip to enjoy family but to look deep inside myself and reflect the many blessings I have and to create more memories. I hope you enjoy.

  3. May 1...Gordy and I caught the red eye in Anchorage bound for Salt Lake City and then to Logan to enjoy our son graduate from Utah State University. We stopped at an airport pub and enjoyed a beer and a wine before we took off. We picked up a growler of beer from Fox up near Fairbanks and blueberry vodka for us. We got to the gate and we were the last to board. We laughed because we had never been late for a flight. I think we had truly started our vacation. The flight was a little bumpy but we made it to Seattle just fine. A glass of wine and Vodka for Gordy never hurts. We managed to laugh and take small cat naps. We arrived in Seattle with a little time and people watched while we enjoyed a wonderful bagel.

  4. We took off for SLC where we would be waiting for Chase and Miranda. The flight was great. It was beautiful out. There was a little more room this time. I really love Alaska Airlines..The service is always good. Gordy was really relaxed and we lather a lot. Behind us was an interesting group which made us crack up. We landed and people watched until Chase and Miranda picked us up. I forgot to add that we brought along a stuffed moose named moose. We set him up on our luggage with glasses on and got some great responses. I love to people watch. Everyone is thinking and acting differently and it is quite intriguing. The SLC airport is very nice and felt safe. After a while here come my kiddo Chase and Miranda. After lots of hugs and kisses Gordy and Chase chatted about his hockey trip to New Zealand and we waited for my mom to arrive. Soon we figured out we were at the wrong terminal. We walked next door and found her on the curb......Hugs all around. Off we went to Logan Utah....

  5. The drive was gorgeous. It's a mix between desert and farm. I have been here 3 times now and really like it. Not once have I felt uncomfortable. We made it to Logan and went to rink to watch Chase workout getting ready for his NZ trip. After mom and I headed towards Bear lake about 45 minutes away to stay in a beautiful condo. Gordon stayed with Chase. It was dark now so the drive would be slow. I didn't. Want to hit a dear. We made it and settled down with wine. IT WAS A WONDERFUL DAY FILLED WITH LAUGHS AND FAMILY
